Joshua Nichols "Eye of the Tiger" Legacy Scholarship
Criteria to Apply:
• Must be a senior enrolled at Middleton High School
• Must be of African American Decedent
• Must have a 2.5 (weighted) GPA or higher
• Must attend a 4-year University (must be enrolled before disbursement of funds)
• Must complete the application on website
• Must submit last report card or transcript
• Priority will be given to student-athletes or students involved in extracurricular activities
• Scholarship Recipients must attend the award ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm
The amount of the scholarship will vary depending on application scoring ($250-$2,500).
Application Period closes on March 15, 2025
Joshua's Way of Hope Achiever Scholarship
Criteria to Apply:
• Must be a senior in high school
• Must have a 2.0 (weighted) GPA or higher
• Must attend a 4-year University OR
• Community College OR
• Trade/Vocational School/Program
• Must complete application on website
• Must submit last report card or transcript
• Scholarship Recipients
must attend award ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm
The amount of the scholarship will vary depending on application scoring ($250-$2,500).
Application Period closes on March 15, 2025
Joshua Way of Hope for the Future Scholarship
Criteria to Apply:
• Must have previously received a scholarship through Joshua Way of Hope (JWOH) OR
• Must be a current employee of JWOH
• Must be currently enrolled in college
• Must have a 2.5 GPA
• Must complete application on website
• Must submit last report card or transcript
• Scholarship Recipients must attend the award ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm
Scholarship Recipients that do not work for JWOH must volunteer 10 hours at Joshua Way of Hope before receiving award.
The amount of the scholarship will vary depending on application scoring ($250-$1,500).
Application Period closes on March 15, 2025
Lillie Mae Judge Nichols Single Parent Scholarship
Criteria to Apply:
• Must be a single parent enrolled in High School, College, or Vocational Program OR
• A High School Senior that live in a single-parent home
• Must have a 2.0 (weighted) or higher GPA
• Must attend a 4-year University/Community College OR
• Must attend a Vocational School /Trade Program
• Must complete the application on website
• Must submit last report card or transcript
• Scholarship Recipients must attend award ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm
The amount of the scholarship will vary depending on application scoring ($250-$1,500).
Application Period closes on March 15, 2025
Willie Mae Young Jones Nursing Scholarship
Criteria to Apply:
• Must be a senior in high school planning to enroll in a nursing program OR
• Must be enrolled in a 4-year University/Community College/Vocational School pursuing a career in nursing
• Must have community involvement
• Must have a 2.5 (weighted) or higher GPA
• Must submit last report card or transcript
• Scholarship Recipients must attend award ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 6:30 pm
